Assoc. Prof., Lenka Slavíková

Lenka Slavíkova is the university teacher and researcher that is currently grounded at the University of J. E. Purkyne in Usti nad Labem. She graduated at the University of Economics in Prague, specialization Public Policy and Public Administration with the focus on Environmental and Institutional Economics. Her long-term interest is in economic tools of environmental policy and their application to water. She also pursue the environmental governance analysis of water and biodiverzity in Central and Eastern European Countries and advocates the use of qualitative methods in the economics with the focus on natural hazard damage mitigation.
In April 2009, Lenka Slavikova finished her Ph.D. programme and defended her dissertation on the economic schools of thought comparison that are relevant for nature protection. In 2015, she was given the title Assoc. Prof. in Public Economics at Masaryk University in Brno.
